HYESUNG Accounting Corporation Participates in Seoul Forward Singapore
- Connecting Seoul and Singapore through Global Business Networking
Chris Song, Partner at HYESUNG Accounting Corporation, participated in Invest Seoul’s “Seoul Forward Singapore” held in Singapore last week, where he had the opportunity to engage with local companies and investors interested in entering the Seoul market. “Seoul Forward Singapore” was held as part of Tech Week Singapore 2026, one of Singapore’s leading technology conferences, with Enterprise Singapore and Invest Seoul joining forces to explore opportunities for technology and business collaboration between Seoul and Singapore. This year’s Tech Week brought together global companies across a wide range of sectors, including AI, robotics, mobility, digital infrastructure, and data centers. Leading Korean technology companies and global corporations also took the stage to share the latest technologies, business opportunities, and market trends.
- Engaging with Companies and Investors Interested in Entering Korea
Over the course of approximately one week, including the Seoul Forward event, Chris Song met with companies and investors in Singapore who are interested in entering and investing in the Korean market. Discussions covered Korea’s business environment, market entry strategies, corporate establishment, and accounting and tax considerations involved in establishing and operating a business in Korea. Beyond general market information, the meetings highlighted strong interest and demand for practical support in areas such as market entry, entity establishment, accounting and tax, regulatory and compliance matters, and local business partnerships.
- Building Professional Connections through the Moore Global Network
During the visit, Chris also met with professionals at the Moore Singapore office, as well as other local professional service firms, to exchange insights and explore opportunities for collaboration in supporting cross-border business between Singapore and Korea. As a member firm of the Moore Global Network, HYESUNG provides not only support for Korean companies expanding overseas, but also operates the Korea Market Entry Integrated Solution Center (Korea Market Entry ISC), offering one-stop support for global companies entering the Korean market. The Singapore visit provided an excellent opportunity to further strengthen HYESUNG’s network of local professionals and expand potential collaboration opportunities for cross-border projects connecting Singapore and Korea.
- Seoul and Singapore: Connecting Complementary Ecosystems
Seoul Forward highlighted that Seoul and Singapore should not simply be viewed as competing technology and business hubs, but rather as complementary ecosystems that can create greater opportunities by connecting their respective strengths. Singapore’s strong regional connectivity and global business network, combined with Seoul’s robust technology and R&D capabilities and its dynamic corporate and startup ecosystem, can create new opportunities for market entry, investment, and business collaboration between companies in both markets.
HYESUNG Accounting Corporation will continue to support global companies and investors in establishing and growing their businesses in Korea by providing integrated services covering accounting, tax, entity establishment, compliance, and cross-border advisory, while leveraging its global network to create meaningful business connections.
We look forward to seeing the conversations and connections initiated through Seoul Forward develop into tangible investments and business partnerships between Singapore, Seoul, and the broader APAC region.
