HYESUNG Joins Moore APAC Audit Conference 2026 in Seoul
HYESUNG Accounting Corporation successfully participated in the Moore APAC Audit Conference 2026, held from September 1 to 2, 2026, at Seoul Dragon City. Bringing together member firms of the Moore Global Network across the Asia-Pacific region, the conference featured a practical and highly interactive program covering key developments and emerging issues in the audit profession, including audit practices, risk assessment, IFRS 18, and the application of AI in audit.
On the first day, Eun-Jung Lee, Director at HYESUNG, participated as the Korean representative on the “AI in Audit” panel session. She introduced HYESUNG’s current use of AI and shared insights into how AI adoption is transforming both the internal environment of the accounting and audit profession and the broader Korean market. Together with fellow panelists from Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, and Japan, she engaged in an in-depth discussion on a range of topics, including how to overcome barriers to AI adoption, the impact of AI on the efficiency of high-risk professional judgment, and the key skills and recruitment strategies required for the auditors of the future.
On the second day, HYESUNG invited representatives from Invest Seoul, one of its key strategic partners, to participate in a special session. The session highlighted Seoul’s competitiveness as a global business hub and introduced Invest Seoul’s various programs and initiatives supporting foreign companies. In particular, the session featured successful examples of collaboration between HYESUNG and Invest Seoul in supporting global companies entering the Korean market.
The conference also provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen HYESUNG’s relationships with key audit partners across the Moore APAC network and to further expand cross-border collaboration and professional exchange.
